The Assay Genie TCs (Tetracyclines) ELISA Kit delivers a competitive immunoassay workflow for screening antibiotic residue contamination across diverse food matrices including muscle tissue, liver, egg, honey and urine. It detects tetracycline, oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline and doxycycline residues within a working detection range of 0.1 to 10 ng/mL, with a reported analytical sensitivity around 0.05 ng/mL. The microplate-based protocol completes in roughly 90 minutes and uses an in vitro competitive ELISA format with absorbance readout on a standard plate reader. Cross-reactivity profiles confirm broad recognition across the tetracycline class while showing negligible interference from unrelated antibiotics such as sulfonamides, beta-lactams or aminoglycosides. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, concentrated calibrators, antibody working solution, substrate and stop reagent.
