TBX15/18 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

The Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a sensitive, lysate-free method for measuring TBX15/18 protein expression profiles in cultured cells. Designed for high-throughput screening, the kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which TBX15/18-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition, read at 450 nm. With a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, the assay enables qualitative assessment of relative TBX15/18 levels in adherent cells and can be used to evaluate the effects of treatments, inhibitors, or activators on expression. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be applied to determine cell density for normalization.

TBX15 is a transcription factor implicated in developmental processes such as limb and kidney development, with dysregulation linked to conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer. The kit shows reactivity with human and mouse samples and is stored at 4°C for up to 6 months.
