Tau (Phospho-Ser356)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A fluorometric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of Tau (Phospho-Ser356) in a lysate-free, high-throughput format. The assay uses Tau (Phospho-Ser356)-specific primary antibodies to capture the target, with Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody to enable fluorometric readout.

The kit can be used to measure relative amounts of phosphorylated Tau in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on MAPT phosphorylation. Because the readout is qualitative, two normalisation methods are included: a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH serves as an internal positive control, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated counterpart of Tau (Phospho-Ser356) is provided for normalisation against the RFU values for non-phosphorylated Tau.

Reactivity is reported for human, mouse and rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The target is Phospho-Tau (Ser356), corresponding to the MAPT gene (Gene ID: 4137; UniProt ID: P10636).
