Tau (Phospho-Ser356)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit is designed for the accurate quantification of phosphorylated tau protein at serine 356 in cell lysates. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which Tau (Phospho-Ser356) is captured by target-specific primary antibodies while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Results are read at 450 nm.

The kit is validated for Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, including adherent cells, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density. The qualitative Cell-Based format supports screening of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators on Tau phosphorylation.
