Tau (Phospho-Ser262)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a lysate-free, high-throughput assay designed to monitor Tau (Phospho-Ser262) protein phosphorylation and expression profile in cells. The kit enables measurement of relative amounts of phosphorylated Tau in cultured cells and screening of the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on MAPT phosphorylation.

Qualitative detection of Tau (Phospho-Ser262) is achieved via an indirect ELISA format: phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target while Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, emitting light at characteristic wavelengths for fluorometric readout. The kit includes a monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control for normalization, plus an antibody against the non-phosphorylated Tau counterpart to normalize phosphorylated Tau RFU values.

Reactivity covers Human, Mouse and Rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The kit is stored at 4°C with 6 months stability and configured for cell-based ELISA workflows.
