Tau (Phospho-Ser214)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA kit enables fluorometric monitoring of Tau phosphorylation at Ser214 in cultured cells without the need for lysate preparation. Using an indirect ELISA format, the target is captured by phospho-specific primary antibodies and detected with Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies, supporting a dual-channel fluorescence readout.

The kit supports measurement of relative phosphorylated Tau levels in adherent or suspension cell cultures and can be used to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on Tau phosphorylation. A monoclonal GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated Tau counterpart is provided for normalization. The assay is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

Detection is performed with a fluorescent plate reader at Ex/Em 651/667 and 495/521. The kit targets the MAPT gene product (Gene ID: 4137, UniProt ID: P10636), and components are stable at 4°C for 6 Months.
