T/Testosterone ELISA Kit

The 96-well microplate format supports up to 96 Assays per run on a colorimetric readout at 450 nm, with a precoated plate, lyophilized standards, HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution included.

The protocol follows a competition principle: a testosterone-specific capture antibody is pre-bound to the wells, and a fixed amount of HRP-labeled testosterone competes with endogenous analyte in the sample. A 50 uL sample volume is added alongside the conjugate, incubated, washed, and developed; absorbance is read at 450 nm and is inversely proportional to testosterone concentration.

Reagents are shipped refrigerated and should be stored at 2 to 8 degrees C upon arrival; reconstituted components may be frozen at -20 degrees C for longer holding, and unused strip wells should remain sealed in the desiccant pouch. The kit is validated for use on standard plate readers and is intended for research use only in endocrinology, andrology, reproductive biology, sports-medicine, and veterinary studies.
