Sumo1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric, cell-based ELISA kit designed for the qualitative measurement of SUMO1 (Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier 1) protein expression in cultured cells. The assay is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and is suitable for adherent cells, supporting profiling of SUMO1 levels under various treatment conditions, including siRNA or chemical modulators.

Detection proceeds via an indirect ELISA format, in which SUMO1 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density and correct for plating differences.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The kit should be stored at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 Months.
