Description

Designed for the accurate detection of STK39 levels in cell lysates and tissue homogenates, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie offers a high throughput, sensitive, and lysate-free workflow for measuring the relative protein expression profile of STK39 in cultured cells. It can be used to study the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on STK39, with qualitative determination achieved through an indirect ELISA format in which STK39-specific primary antibodies are bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method is provided for determining cell density.

The assay uses a Colorimetric 450 nm detection method and is configured in a 96-Well Microplate format suitable for adherent cell samples, with reactivity to Human, Mouse, and Rat. The stated dynamic range is > 5000 Cells and the kit is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 Months. STK39, also known as Ste20-like kinase 1, is a serine/threonine kinase implicated in the regulation of cell morphology and migration, with roles in cell proliferation, apoptosis, and stress response, and relevance to cancer progression and inflammation.
