STAT6 (Phospho-Thr645)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of STAT6 protein phosphorylation and expression profile directly in cells. The kit targets STAT6 phosphorylated at Thr645 and provides a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput format for measuring relative levels of phosphorylated STAT6 in cultured cells, as well as for screening the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on STAT6 phosphorylation. Reactivity is established in human, mouse, and rat samples, and the assay is suited to adherent cell populations.

Detection is achieved by an indirect ELISA format in which STAT6 (Phospho-Thr645)-specific primary antibodies capture the target, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided so absorbance values can be normalized to cell density. The dynamic range is greater than 5000 cells per well.
