STAT5A Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie that enables measurement of STAT5A protein expression directly in cultured cells without the need for lysate preparation. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which STAT5A-specific primary antibodies are bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, and the resulting HRP activity is read as a colorimetric signal at 450 nm.

Designed for use with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, the assay has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. An anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step allows cell density to be measured so that plating differences can be accounted for.

STAT5A is a transcription factor of the STAT family that is phosphorylated and activated by receptor-associated kinases downstream of cytokines and growth-factor receptors, and has roles in cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation. The kit is provided in a 96-well microplate format and is stored at 4°C with a stated shelf life of 6 Months.
