STAT1 (Phospho-Ser727)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed to monitor STAT1 phosphorylation at Ser727 in cultured cells. The lysate-free, high-throughput assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which target-specific primary antibodies are detected with dye-conjugated secondary antibodies, allowing fluorometric readout. It can be used to measure relative levels of phosphorylated STAT1 (Ser727) and to screen treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators for their effects on STAT1 phosphorylation.

The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat cells and has a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. For normalization, the kit includes a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control, plus an antibody against the non-phosphorylated form of STAT1 (Ser727) so that phosphorylated RFU values can be normalized against total STAT1 RFU values. A fluorescent plate reader with two channels at Ex/Em 651/667 and 495/521 is required for detection. The assay is supplied in a 96-well plate format and is stored at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.
