SNAP25 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's SNAP25 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay designed to detect the SNAP25 protein expression profile in cells. Suitable for adherent cell samples, the kit can be used to measure the relative amounts of SNAP25 in cultured cells and to screen for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators have on SNAP25 expression.

Qualitative determination of SNAP25 concentration is achieved by an indirect ELISA format: SNAP25 is captured by SNAP25-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, enabling a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm upon substrate addition. The kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalisation, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density. Recommended storage is 4 °C, where the kit remains stable for 6 months.
