Description

This Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative measurement of SMRC2 protein expression in cultured cells. Using an indirect ELISA format, the assay captures SMRC2 with target-specific primary antibodies and detects them with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. The kit is described as lysate-free, high throughput, and sensitive, and can be used to measure relative SMRC2 levels as well as to screen the effects of treatments, siRNA, chemicals, or other modulators. SMRC2 (also known as SMARCC2 or SWI/SNF complex subunit SMARCC2) is a member of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex and is implicated in chromatin remodeling, neuronal gene regulation, and myeloid differentiation.

Reactivity is reported for Human and Mouse samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The format is a 96-Well Microplate and the kit is intended for adherent cells. Storage is at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 Months. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step is provided so that absorbance values can be normalized to cell density. The research area is Neuroscience. SMRC2 has a reported molecular weight of 181 kDa.
