Smad2/3 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of Smad2/3 protein expression directly in cultured cells, using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The assay uses a lysate-free, indirect ELISA format in which Smad2/3 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, making it suitable for measuring relative Smad2/3 levels and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on Smad2/3.

Reactivity has been validated for human, mouse, and rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells, and the kit is supplied in a 96-well microplate format intended for adherent cells. Normalization is supported by an included anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody serving as an internal positive control, together with a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step for cell density adjustment.
