SIX6 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit offers a colorimetric, lysate-free, high-throughput method for profiling SIX6 protein expression directly in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which SIX6-specific primary antibodies are detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm with a dynamic range of greater than 5000 cells.

The kit is validated for Human, Mouse, and Rat reactivity and is intended for use with adherent cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step may be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be normalized to cell amount. The kit can be applied to measure relative SIX6 levels in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), and activators on SIX6 expression, supporting research into cell signaling, proliferation, and apoptosis.

Supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format, the kit is stored at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.
