Sheep NSE/Neuron-specific Enolase ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Neuron-Specific Enolase (NSE) in sheep samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody, colorimetric format. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysis buffer, tissue lysis buffer, and other biological fluid samples, with kit reagents intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay has a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL. Reported linearity spans 87-104% in serum (n=5), 86-98% in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80-96% in heparin plasma (n=5) across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8. Recovery averages 96% in serum (range 91-105%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 85-104%), and 97% in heparin plasma (range 89-103%).

NSE is an enzyme found primarily in neurons and is used as a marker for neuronal injury and neurodegenerative disorders.
