Sheep IL-27 ELISA Kit (SHFI00015)

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of interleukin-27 (IL-27) in sheep samples, using a double-antibody format. It is reactive with sheep and validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell or tissue lysate. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a quantitative range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, carried out by adding TMB substrate and reading absorbance at 450 nm after the stop solution. Standards and samples are incubated on the pre-coated plate at 37 °C, followed by a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin binding steps. Reagents should be stored at 2–8 °C with a shelf life of 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (82–101% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (83–100%), and heparin plasma (86–105%). Spike-and-recovery averages are reported for serum (93%), EDTA plasma (94%), and heparin plasma (97%).
