Sheep IL-23 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit provides a colorimetric, double-antibody method for quantifying Interleukin-23 (IL-23) in sheep samples. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The kit delivers a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL across a measuring range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with recoveries within 92-102%, 86-94% and 83-99% for serum; 85-94%, 85-97% and 81-100% for EDTA plasma; and 87-102%, 85-93% and 82-98% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery performance is documented for serum (range 92-97%, average 94%), EDTA plasma (range 87-102%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (range 85-98%, average 93%).

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples for a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, sequential additions of a biotin-labelled detection antibody (37°C, 60 minutes) and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (37°C, 30 minutes), followed by TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes and a stop step read at 450 nm.
