The Assay Genie Sheep IL-21 DIY ELISA Kit enables researchers to quantify Interleukin-21, a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by CD4+ T follicular helper cells, Th17 cells, and NKT cells that signals through the IL-21 receptor and STAT3 to drive B cell maturation, plasma cell differentiation, and cytotoxic lymphocyte function. In ovine models this kit is used to study mucosal immunity, parasite resistance, and vaccine responses.

The DIY format supplies pre-titrated capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, lyophilized recombinant standard, streptavidin-HRP concentrate, coating buffer, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution, allowing the user to coat up to 10 plates and tailor well density to each experiment. Reconstituted standard should be stored frozen at -20 degrees C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, while the capture antibody remains stable at 4 degrees C for the kit shelf life.
