Sheep IL-2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of sheep interleukin-2 (IL-2). The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell or tissue lysate samples, and results are read colorimetrically by absorbance at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. The assay has a stated sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL.

Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 98-105%, 87-99%, and 91-96% for serum (n=5); 93-104%, 87-97%, and 91-97% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 91-104%, 89-101%, and 92-98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges are 85-99% (average 90%) for serum, 87-99% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 87-100% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions.
