The Sheep IgM ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a quantitative immunoassay for measuring immunoglobulin M in ovine serum or plasma. The microplate format uses class-specific capture antibodies pre-adsorbed to wells, with an enzyme-labeled secondary antibody for detection. The protocol uses 100 µL of sample per well and includes a serial-dilution standard for building a calibration curve to interpolate unknown IgM concentrations. Each kit provides pre-coated wells, buffers, detection reagents, and reference standard sufficient for 96 Assays. The capture antibody is selective for the ovine IgM heavy chain and shows no significant cross-reactivity with sheep IgG or IgA. For research use only.
