Sheep IFN gamma ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) in sheep serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay is intended for research into immune system regulation, inflammatory and autoimmune disease mechanisms, infectious disease, and vaccine development in sheep models.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls between 80% and 105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Recovery across the same matrices ranges from 85% to 103%, with averages of 91% (serum) and 92% (EDTA and heparin plasma). The kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months and follows a sandwich workflow using a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
