Sheep ACE/Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 1 ELISA Kit

A high-sensitivity sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of sheep Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 1 (ACE) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody configuration with biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) signal generation, and absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. ACE is described as an enzyme that converts angiotensin I into the vasoconstrictor angiotensin II, with dysregulation associated with cardiovascular conditions including hypertension and heart failure, making it a useful biomarker in cardiovascular research. The kit is provided in a solid-phase microplate format.
