SGK Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A Cell-Based ELISA assay from Assay Genie is designed for detecting and quantifying SGK (serum/glucocorticoid regulated kinase) protein levels in cultured cells. The kit enables researchers to measure relative SGK expression and to screen for the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators on SGK in cell-based experiments.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which SGK is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, followed by incubation with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies. A colorimetric reaction at 450 nm is produced upon substrate addition, allowing qualitative determination of SGK concentration. Multiple normalization methods are recommended: a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control in normalizing the target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density.

Reactivity is established for Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, with adherent cells as the sample type. The dynamic range is greater than 5000 cells, and recommended storage is 4°C for 6 months.
