Rituximab (Rituxan®, Mabthera®) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie’s free-drug ELISA is intended for the quantitative measurement of rituximab (Rituxan®/Mabthera®) in serum and plasma. The Rituximab (Rituxan®, Mabthera®) ELISA Kit is a solid-phase, colorimetric enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay based on a rituximab-specific monoclonal antibody. The manufacturer reports a detection limit of “3 (ng/mL),” spike recovery of “85-115%,” and a total assay time of “135 min.”

Standards and diluted samples are incubated in a microtitre plate coated with monoclonal antibody. Following washing, an anti-human IgG Fc-specific monoclonal antibody conjugated to horse radish peroxidase is added, and bound enzymatic activity is detected using a chromogen substrate. The developed color is proportional to the amount of rituximab in the sample or standard, allowing results to be determined directly from the standard curve. The kit is for research use only.

Kit components include rituximab standards, high- and low-level controls, assay buffer, an HRP-conjugated probe, TMB substrate and stop solutions, wash buffer, a microtiter plate, and adhesive foil.
