RIT1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables qualitative detection of RIT1 protein in cultured cells via a colorimetric readout at 450 nm. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which RIT1 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, and is described as lysate-free and high throughput. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalization, while Crystal Violet whole-cell staining allows absorbance values to be corrected for cell density and plating differences.

Reactive with human and mouse samples and suitable for adherent cell cultures, the kit supports measurement of relative RIT1 levels as well as screening of treatments, inhibitors (including siRNA or chemicals) and activators. RIT1 is a small GTPase of the Ras subfamily involved in cell growth, differentiation and survival, and participates in NGF- and EGF-driven signaling pathways; it is also linked to Noonan Syndrome 8. The stated dynamic range is > 5000 cells, and storage is at 4 °C with a six-month stability.
