Retinoid X Receptor gamma Transcription Factor Activity Assay

This Assay Genie kit quantitatively measures activated Retinoid X Receptor gamma (RXRγ, NR2B3) binding to its cognate retinoic acid response element (RXRE) immobilized on a microplate. Researchers add nuclear or cell lysates from human, mouse, or rat samples directly to wells; the captured transcription factor is detected with a RXRγ-specific antibody and an enzymatic readout.

Reagents include a strip plate, wash buffer, nuclear extraction reagents, and positive/negative controls. Store at 4°C; protect reagents from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The workflow takes roughly 3.5 hours from sample loading to absorbance measurement, with a sample volume of approximately 10–20 uL per well.
