REQU Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Assay Genie's Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the qualitative detection of REQU protein expression in cultured cells using an indirect ELISA format. This lysate-free, high-throughput assay captures REQU with target-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The kit can be used to measure relative REQU levels in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on REQU expression.

Performed in a 96-well microplate format, the assay is reactive with both human and mouse samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells and absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit is intended for research in the area of cell death and is compatible with adherent cell samples. For data normalisation, a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included to serve as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density following the HRP readout. Storage is at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 months.
