Description
From QIAGEN's universal NGS consumables line, this whole transcriptome amplification kit is designed for single-cell RNA analysis, enabling uniform amplification of transcripts from very small samples. The approach accurately represents the transcription pattern of a single cell with very limited or no amplification bias.
The amplified cDNA is suited to next-generation sequencing (RNA-Seq), gene expression arrays, or quantitative PCR analysis. Indicated research areas include biomarker expression studies in human and animal systems, and somatic genetic variant analysis in cancer. Sample material may be individual cells or total RNA.
The kit does not amplify small RNAs such as miRNAs and tRNAs.
