QuantiNova Rev. Transcription Kit (200)

Designed for real-time 2-step RT-PCR workflows, this QIAGEN reverse transcription kit is recommended for use with the QuantiNova LNA PCR Assays and Panels to enable quantification of mRNA and lncRNA targets. It delivers a fast procedure for efficient reverse transcription combined with effective genomic DNA removal, providing high cDNA yields for sensitive quantification of even low-abundance transcripts, and includes an internal control to monitor successful reverse transcription.

Components described in the QuantiNova LNA PCR Handbook include the QuantiNova Reverse Transcription Enzyme, an optimized enzyme for real-time 2-step PCR; the QuantiNova gDNA Removal Mix, a buffer and enzyme mix with RNase inhibitor for effective removal of genomic DNA contamination from starting RNA samples; the QuantiNova Reverse Transcription Mix, a buffer containing an optimized combination of oligo-dT and random primers along with Mg2+ and dNTPs, enabling high cDNA yields from all regions of RNA transcripts including 5' regions; and the QuantiNova Internal Control (QN IC) RNA, a synthetic transcript for monitoring successful reverse transcription.
