RelB (Phospho-Ser573)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the detection of RelB (Phospho-Ser573) phosphorylation in cultured cell samples. It provides a lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive approach for measuring the relative amounts of phosphorylated RelB in adherent cells, and can be used to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators on RelB phosphorylation.

Reactivity is Human, Mouse. Detection is colorimetric at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format, in which RelB (Phospho-Ser573) is captured by phospho-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values. The Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalised to cell amounts.
