Rel Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is described as a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay for detecting Rel protein expression profile in cultured human cells. The colorimetric detection method is read at 450 nm and the assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which Rel-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The kit is suitable for adherent cells and is provided in a 96-well microplate format with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and storage at 4°C for 6 months.

Two normalization approaches are included: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method to determine cell density after the colorimetric measurement.
