Description
Assay Genie's sandwich-format ELISA is designed to quantify Zinc-alpha-2-glycoprotein (AZGP1) in rat-derived samples. The assay detects natural and recombinant rat AZGP1 with a detection range of 3.12–200 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 1.68 ng/mL.
Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. AZGP1 is a secreted protein (UniProt Q63678) that stimulates lipid degradation in adipocytes and has been linked to the extensive fat losses associated with some advanced cancers.
