Rat XCL1/Lymphotactin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of XCL1, also known as lymphotactin, in rat samples. The double-antibody assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. XCL1 is a chemokine protein involved in immune cell recruitment and inflammatory responses and is associated with the Uniprot entry P51672.

Reported linearity and recovery values are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. For serum, linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 92-103%, 83-100%, and 84-92% respectively, with recovery averaging 98%. EDTA plasma shows linearity of 88-96%, 82-100%, and 89-103% with an average recovery of 100%. Heparin plasma shows linearity of 85-92%, 86-98%, and 90-97% with an average recovery of 93%.

The assay workflow includes a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, 100X biotin-labeled antibody, 100X HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample/antibody/SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual, and should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
