Rat Xaa-Pro Dipeptidase/Prolidase/PEPD ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, double-antibody Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie, intended for the quantitative measurement of Xaa-Pro Dipeptidase (Prolidase, PEPD) in rat samples. PEPD is a proline-specific peptidase involved in the breakdown of collagen and other extracellular matrix components, making the kit useful for research applications in cell biology.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. Reported recovery is 88–102% in serum (average 94%), 86–100% in EDTA plasma (average 92%), and 87–102% in heparin plasma (average 93%). Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. PEPD dysregulation has been linked to conditions such as fibrosis, arthritis, and cancer, and this kit is intended to support research into those areas.
