Description

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of WNT1-inducible-signaling pathway protein 1 (WISP1) in rat samples using a colorimetric detection method. Also referred to as CCN family member 4, ELM-1, WISP-1, Ccn4, and Elm1, the target protein is described as a downstream regulator in the Wnt/Frizzled-signaling pathway and is associated with cell survival, with research applications in the area of cancer.

The assay is reactive with rat samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It has a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/ml and a sensitivity of 7.88pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity spans 97-108% to 107-119% for serum (N=5), 109-119% to 100-113% for EDTA plasma (N=5), and 107-115% to 103-113% for heparin plasma (N=5) across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Recovery averages 93% (range 87-99%) for serum and 95% (range 89-101%) for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant rat WNT1-inducible-signaling pathway protein 1, and the target is a secreted protein with a reported molecular weight of 40,614 Da (UniProt Q99PP0). For research use only.
