Rat VLDL (Very Low Density Lipoprotein) ELISA Kit (RTES00950)

The Assay Genie Rat VLDL ELISA Kit is intended for research use only and is suited to quantifying very low density lipoprotein concentrations in rat-derived specimens. The assay uses a two-antibody immunoassay format with a colorimetric readout on a standard microplate. A 50 ul sample volume per well is typical when running the protocol as supplied. Reconstituted reagents and unopened strips should be kept refrigerated; for longer-term storage the kit can be frozen, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles of standards avoided by aliquoting. Researchers commonly apply this kit to cardiovascular and metabolic studies, including investigations of dyslipidemia, hepatic lipid export, and the effects of diet or pharmacological interventions on circulating triglyceride-rich particles in rat models.
