Rat VEGFR1/Flt-1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie that uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of VEGFR1 (also known as Flt-1) in rat samples. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the reaction is read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

Recovery in serum (n=5) is 88-100% with an average of 95%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) 97-105% with an average of 99%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) 85-101% with an average of 93%. Linearity in serum is 86-103% (1:2), 86-97% (1:4) and 83-99% (1:8); in EDTA plasma 85-102%, 85-100% and 81-100%; and in heparin plasma 88-102%, 82-99% and 81-97%.

VEGFR1/Flt-1 is a key receptor in vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signalling, with roles in angiogenesis and vascular development, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular and inflammatory conditions. The kit is intended for research use in the cardiovascular area, and reagents should be stored at 2-8°C, where the kit is stable for 12 months.
