Rat VEGFC ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor C (VEGFC) in rat samples. VEGFC plays a key role in the regulation of lymphangiogenesis and angiogenesis, influencing the growth of lymphatic and blood vessels, and is significant as a biomarker for conditions including cancer, inflammation, and lymphedema.

The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It has a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a detection range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, and a technical manual. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C; the microplate and standards may also be stored for 12 months at -20°C.

The assay protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and controls on the pre-coated plate, and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labeled detection antibody is then added and incubated at 37°C for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is added and incubated in the dark for 10-20 minutes before stop solution is added and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
