Rat VEGF ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) in rat samples. The double-antibody sandwich format is reactive with rat and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The kit is intended for cardiovascular research applications and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Recovery has been tested across serum (range 89-103%, average 93%), EDTA plasma (range 85-99%, average 94%) and heparin plasma (range 90-105%, average 96%). Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (86-105%, 82-99%, 81-98%), EDTA plasma (86-102%, 83-100%, 80-98%) and heparin plasma (86-101%, 82-87%, 83-99%).
