The Rat VEGF-A DIY ELISA Kit from Assay Genie quantifies rat Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A, a homodimeric glycoprotein central to angiogenesis, vascular permeability, and endothelial cell maintenance. The kit is broadly used in rat models of tumor neovascularization, diabetic retinopathy, wound healing, and ischemic injury. A colorimetric read-out supports a standard-curve detection range of 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity near 5 pg/mL, enabling reliable measurement of VEGF-A in fluid samples and conditioned media. Each well requires a 100 μL sample volume, and the strip-well layout scales up to 10 plates for longitudinal studies. All components remain stable for 6 months stored refrigerated at 4 °C, and the kit is intended for research use only.
