Rat VASPIN/Visceral Adipose Specific Serine Protease Inhibitor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of visceral adipose-specific serine protease inhibitor (VASPIN) in rat samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is suited to research on metabolic health, obesity, insulin resistance and adipose tissue dysfunction.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported performance is a sensitivity of 56.25 pg/mL with a detection range of 93.75-6000 pg/mL. Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 80-104%.
