VASP (Vasodilator Stimulated Phosphoprotein) is an approximately 40 kDa actin-associated protein expressed in platelets, vascular endothelial cells, and smooth muscle, where it regulates actin filament elongation, cell adhesion, and integrin signaling downstream of cAMP and cGMP pathways. This Assay Genie kit is configured as a quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for rat samples, providing a colorimetric readout suited to in vitro research workflows. A standard microwell plate format lets investigators process multiple samples in parallel, and the kit is supplied with reagents sufficient for the indicated number of determinations across serum or plasma samples, or prepared tissue lysates from rat sources.
