Rat Urocortin 3 (UCN3) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Urocortin 3 (UCN3) ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of UCN3, a 40-amino acid neuropeptide in the corticotropin-releasing factor peptide family that binds selectively to the CRF2 receptor. In rat research, UCN3 is implicated in stress axis regulation, appetite control, and cardiovascular signalling, supporting studies of hypothalamic tissue extracts and circulating peptide dynamics.

The chromogenic procedure runs on a 96-assay plate format. All reagents required for the protocol are included in the kit, such as pre-coated microplate wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, chromogenic substrate solution, and stop reagent. A standard curve is generated using supplied recombinant rat UCN3 calibrators.

For storage, unopened components should be kept refrigerated at 4 degrees C; reconstituted standards and any partial reagent aliquots should be frozen to preserve activity across freeze-thaw cycles.
