Rat Urocortin 2 (UCN2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Urocortin 2 ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of Urocortin 2 (UCN2), a 38-amino acid neuropeptide of the corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) family that binds selectively to CRF2 receptors. Investigators apply it to studies of HPA axis signaling, cardiac stress responses, appetite control, and metabolic regulation in rat models. The workflow uses a sandwich ELISA configuration with colorimetric detection at 450 nm on a 96-well microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, and includes lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution.
