Rat Tyrosinase ELISA Kit

Tyrosinase is a key enzyme involved in melanin production, essential for pigment formation in the skin, hair, and eyes. Dysregulation of the enzyme has been linked to skin disorders such as albinism or hyperpigmentation. The kit reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported recovery averages 94% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 93% in heparin plasma.

Detection relies on a biotin-labeled antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.
