Rat TXB2 (Thromboxane B2) ELISA Kit (RTES00806)

This colorimetric, competitive ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for measuring rat TXB2 (thromboxane B2) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay takes 2 h 30 min, and the stated sample volume is 50 μL. The kit has a sensitivity of 9.38 pg/mL and a detection range of 15.63-1000 pg/mL.

Reported recovery is 80%-120%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery testing reported ranges of 90-106% for EDTA plasma and 91-104% for cell culture media, with an average recovery of 97% for each. Intra-assay CV values were 6.0%, 5.72% and 4.18%, while inter-assay CV values were 7.2%, 8.35% and 6.67%.

The manufacturer states that the kit recognises rat TXB2 and that no significant cross-reactivity or interference between rat TXB2 and analogues was observed. A technical manual and certificate of analysis are included. Store at 2-8°C.
