Rat Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 4 (Tnfsf4) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit using a colorimetric detection method for the quantitative measurement of rat Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 4 (Tnfsf4), also known by its synonyms OX40 ligand, OX40L, CD252, Ox40l, and Txgp1. The kit is reactive with rat samples and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers both natural and recombinant rat Tnfsf4.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.5pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.4% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. Linearity tested at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 yielded ranges of 97-107%, 99-109%, 83-92%, and 94-104% for serum (N=5); 98-111%, 104-114%, 102-110%, and 94-105% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 83-93%, 94-104%, 87-96%, and 105-115% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averaged 94% (range 88-100%) in serum and 96% (range 90-102%) in plasma.

Tnfsf4 is described as a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF4 and co-stimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production.
