Rat Tubulin beta-3 chain (Tubb3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Tubulin beta-3 chain (TUBB3), also known as neuron-specific class III beta-tubulin, in rat samples. TUBB3 is a key constituent of microtubules and plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and maintenance. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with rat, with specificity for natural and recombinant rat Tubulin beta-3 chain.

Detection is colorimetric with a reported sensitivity of 0.318 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Acceptable sample matrices include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Recovery has been reported at 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma.
